Fire Hydrant Testing

Fire Hydrant Layout
A fire hydrant is provided as a source of water for use by the Fire Service for fire-fighting purposes.
It is essential for regular testing of a fire hydrant to ensure it will work as required in an emergency.

‘FAILURE TO PRESSURE TEST YOUR FIRE HYDRANTS CAN DEEM YOUR INSURANCE POLICY TO BE NULL AND VOID’.

AquaFlo provide inspection, testing and certification for underground fire hydrants.

All tests and inspection are carried out in accordance with the BS5306 / BS9990 inspection criteria and by using data logging equipment.

Our surveys also cover all key aspects of fire hydrant assessment.

This includes a condition assessment of the following:

Surface, Frame, Cover, Pit, Outlet Depth and Marker.

Aquaflo’s aim is to provide a simple but comprehensive set of results, which clearly show the performance of each hydrant and identifies where any remedial work is require.
